On a normal day at school, Yuri Honjou is mysteriously transported on top of a network of skyscrapers linked by wooden bridges. Although it seems impossible to escape from any of the buildings, Yuri soon realizes that she has a more pressing issue: survival.
After she witnesses the death of another person hunted down by a mysterious masked man, Yuri discovers that she has been dragged into a survival game to decide the next God of this world. Refusing to give up on life, Yuri manages to slay several masked opponents thanks to her tactical intelligence and great expertise with firearms.
Impressed by her bravery and selflessness, many players eventually join Yuri's side. Determined to uncover the mysteries of this absurd world, Yuri will take all the risks to make it out alive with the two people she holds dear—her brother Rika and her new best friend Mayuko Nise.
